Skyforge Heads to Nintendo Switch This Fall

Publisher My.Games announced earlier today that Skyforge, the Free-To-Play Sci-Fi MMORPG, would be getting a Nintendo Switch port this Fall. Originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment and the Allods Team, the game has been around for 5 years in total, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports released in 2017. The game has had its controveries in the past based on how the monetization was built around the game, but nonetheless has kept going all this time. 

According to the official Skyforge website:

Immortals are god-like beings from Aelion gifted with incredible magic. That means you’ve got a few tricks up your sleeve! Switch between 18 unlockable classes as you master an intuitive combat system and harness unique, class-specific abilities, and ultimate Divine Forms. Rock out with the Soundweaver’s killer riffs, shoot to thrill with the Gunner, and set Aelion ablaze with the Firestarter!

Beyond the epic main story, the fight to defend Aelion continues in free updates that push the boundaries of Skyforge’s constantly-evolving universe. You can also contend with Invasions, regular seasonal events that invite you to unite with players around the world online to fight against invaders and their avatars of destruction. Starting after launch, get the Invasion Pass to earn Invasion-exclusive rewards from your battles, including special in-game cosmetics!




Players can sign up and subscribe for a newsletter which will offer them some free in-game items from the official Nintendo Switch website, switch.skyforge.com. Not much else is known about the title, what patch they will start in or anything really, but players will be able to choose between 18 classes, which is all listed on their site
