What is Inversion Reinforcement in The First Descendant?
The Inversion Reinforcement is a progression system in The First Descendant that only lasts during the season. In this system, players can activate three effects which will provide a passive effect for their Descendants throughout the season. After the season is complete, the Inversion Reinforcement will reset completely.
How To Use Inversion Reinforcement
Obtaining Ironheart Particles through the game’s “Invasion” mode is the primary method of obtaining Inversion Energy, which allows a player to put that Energy into whichever Reinforcement that they wish to use. However, there is an alternative way to obtain Ironheart Particles, which is through completing certain tasks such as Infiltration Operations or defeating an outpost, Elite enemies, and more.
Every map on The First Descendant has 10 tasks that can obtain Ironheart Particles. In order to upgrade the Inversion Reinforcer, 2000 Ironheart Particles are required up until level 7. Currently there are only 30 levels in the Inversion Reinforcer, which will allow a player to unlock all of the reinforcements. Reinforcements can be switched out at a Base or in Albion free of charge. Pressing the Reset Enhancement button will simply return all of the energy a player has collected, in order to place them into reinforcements they wish to prioritize. This will not matter if the player already has unlocked level 30, as all reinforcements can be unlocked.

Once you level up the reinforcer, Energy becomes available where a player can invest in any of the following reinforcement categories: Hunt, Attribute, Recovery, Survival, and Season.
