After years of anticipation, delays, and on-going development, CD PROJEKT RED finally announced on October 5th that Cyberpunk 2077, the highly anticipated RPG from The Witcher creators, went Gold. Gold meaning that the game is pretty much complete and ready to be released. However, today the team released a statement that the game would be delayed for 21 days to make sure that the game runs smoothly.
Unfortunately, I do not see this going well. The game has been delayed so many times, that I see it just going into next year. A shame, as many, many, many players have taken time off work for that week, however making sure you have an amazing game in your hands, that’s working well, is far more important. I suppose we’ll see what happens.
